Starts: 07.11.2004 Ends: 07.28.2004 Watch out cause here they come. The Foundation team - Leo Romero, Mike Rusczyk, Tony Silva, Angel Ramirez and Matt Allen have hit the road. They are going on a 2 week mini-tour of the southwest. Hitting spots with a couple demos thrown in. You can look for them at City Boardshop in Las Vegas on the 11th. Then on to Salt Lake City, Denver, Albuquerqe, and Phoenix. Also on the trip are fellow conspirators from the Pig Wood team - Slash, Sammy Baca and Steve fauser. |

Starts: 07.10.2004 Ends: 09.22.2004 The Checkers Series will continue the great thing we started last year with the Deathbox Series. Last year was a blast and everyone wants to do it again. The skaters have radically improved and high energy skate sessions are constantly going off due to everyone wanting to rip in the series. The series will use a jam session format. Skaters skate the entire park just as they would in a normal session (no timed runs). Judges identify 1st through 4th in the bowl and street areas, everyone else ties for 5th. The highest combined score wins overall. There are 10 classes, so skaters are only competing against others in their age group. Last year it was a bowl contest and the series attracted 120 skaters. This year it is expected to triple that number with the addition of street. The contests are held at three of the best parks in Maryland and Virginia. 10-11 July Charles County Skatepark, Maryland 17-18 July Vans Potomac, Virginia 21-22 August St. Mary's County Skatepark, Maryland See www.checkersseries.com for details. | Memorial Skatepark grand Opening! |

Starts: 01.29.2004 Ends: 01.29.2004 The new skatepark here in SD (down the street from TY) is opening on the 29th, this Thursday at 3pm. Tum Yeto and myself was very involved in this project from its conception so we are very excited about it. Per the cities request we aren't doing much for fan fare. Tum Yeto will have a tent up and be doing some giveaways along with some team guys skating. Low key, but still going to be fun. Check out the park here Its on the corner of 30th & Marcy in Barrio Logan. Come down and enjoy the opening! |

We are sending our pick of litter AMs out to try their shit out in a well organized contest. Plus our other super AMs Leo Romero, Matt Allen, Tony Silva and James Atkins going with their other sponsors. Full representation this year. Watch out its going to be a full house! |
